Loose herbs Greek mountain tea

Comment:

Worldwide there are around 150 different types of mountain or alpine teas (family name here Sideretis), most of which occur in the Mediterranean region. The majority of these mint plants grow wild, but a few varieties are also cultivated. Rich in essential oils, both flowers, stems and leaves smell of fresh herbs when poured, with a hint of lemon. Even with a slightly fruity-tart and earthy-spicy taste, the mountain tea can be enjoyed hot or cold sweetened with a little sugar or honey.
