Description:
The basis for this Chinese specialty is a green tea to which fresh jasmine flowers are added during the drying time. Some of the flowers are sifted out again later. This classic form of flavoring has existed in China for around 1,000 years. Jasmine tea is practically the national drink of the Chinese and is enjoyed at any time of the day and any occasion. Many parts of the flowers were left in this lovely mixture, leaving behind a very intense, flowery jasmine smell and taste.
