 This organically grown tea is a top quality in Korean tea culture. It comes from the volcanic island of Jejudo, south of the Korean peninsula. The volcanic rock layers act like a natural filter for rainwater. This clear and pure water is an important reason for cultivating this wonderful product. "Woojean" figuratively means "before the rain", because the harvest takes place from mid to late April, before the onset of spring rain.
